All the information for DUG2024 meeting and pre-conference workshops will be in these pages.  Please register to attend DUG 2024 either in-person or remotely. For remote attendees, most events will be available via Zoom. All registered attendees will receive links to events so in-person and remote attendees can interact

Note all delegates must be from an Insitution with an active membership.  To check whether your's is, ask the person with the log-in details to this website (often the manager or director) to check. Please direct questions about membership status or dues payments to Liz Davison (Treasurer@DigistarDomes.org) or Colin Hutcheson (President@DigistarDomes.org)

PLEASE NOTE THE DEADLINE FOR PRESENTING AT DUG HAS PASSED.  NEW REQUESTS TO GIVE A TALK OR DEMO ARE NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED.  Call for users to present at the conference - Please consider sharing how you are using Digistar in your theatre!

  • Talk is a chance to share your experiences or expertise in an area that will be of interest to planetarians in other domes.  This can be a work in progress or information about a project or event you’ve worked on.  Presenters of talks sometimes use Digistar or Powerpoint; please specify if you need any equipment (e.g. dome or place to project PPT).  Talks can be 15 to 45 minutes long, presented in person or virtually.

  • DUG Demo is a Digistar script/show/content that you wish to demonstrate and share with other DUG members.  These demos are submitted to the DUG Library for free use by other members.  If you’ve made it because it’s useful, then chances are other users will find it useful, too!  Demos have been as short as 1 minute and as long as full shows.  (Conference time is limited, so a limit might be placed on demo length;  we may ask for demo givers to present only 15 or 20 minutes of a longer demo in the interest of time.)  We love to see a variety of content and perspectives at the conference, from educational to entertaining, from simple to complex.  Access to the Library is via the Member’s section on the DUG website (digistardomes.org). Demos can be submitted either directly to Karen Klamczynski (librarian@cosm.com), or via the Digistar Cloud (if you wish it to be available to all Digistar users, not just the DUG Members).
