Community Engagement

DUG Engagement Committee

The Digistar Users Group Engagement Committee focuses on fostering collaboration, learning, and creativity across the global Digistar community. Through its signature DUG Study Halls, members share how they use Digistar at their own host sites, leading hands-on demonstrations and workshops that showcase unique approaches, techniques, and storytelling methods.

The committee also hosts Open Office and Scripting Hours, where users can connect with fellow members and COSM staff to troubleshoot challenges, exchange ideas, or develop new scripts together in a supportive, collaborative environment.

To encourage exploration and skill-building, the Engagement Committee organizes Demo Challenges, friendly competitions designed to inspire users to experiment with Digistar’s capabilities and share innovative results.

Together, these programs help DUG members grow their technical expertise, strengthen professional networks, and celebrate the creativity that drives the Digistar community.
